Mrs. Addie Knox Vaughn

Greetings! I'm Mrs. Addie Vaughn, your child's school counselor at Chickasaw Elementary School and I LOVE IT!

I have been an educator for over 30 years, in both public and private school settings. Of all the roles that I've had over the years, counseling is my most cherished assignment in this challenging, but rewarding field of education. I am so grateful to partner with our parents, faculty, and staff to serve our students in the area of social and emotional learning.

My husband Michael Sr. and I have been married for 38 years! We are the grateful and proud parents of three wonderful adult sons, Michael, Mark, and Matthew Vaughn. Our oldest son is married to an extraordinary young lady, LaTasha and they have given us our two amazing grandsons, Michael T. and Mason. I don't have a lot of time for hobbies, but I do enjoy music and dancing, reading, and my little Maltese dog, Bo.

As your child's school counselor, I feel fortunate to be able to bring my career experiences as a life-long educator and my personal experiences as a parent who has successfully raised children into wonderful adults. It is our desire that all of our students are successful academically, socially, and emotionally, which will enable them to become adults who are productive citizens of our society.
