Degrees and Certifications:
Miss Elisabeth Nichols
My name is Elisabeth Nichols. I will be teaching sixth and seventh grade English this year. I went to McGill-Toolen Catholic High School. Then, I went to Villanova University to study chemical engineering. Well, I set a fire in the chemistry lab and burned my hand, so I decided to switch and study religion. I graduated with my Bachelor’s of Arts in Theology in 2015. I taught for a year in a high school in Birmingham. Then, I moved back to Mobile to be closer to all my family! I have worked at Saint Ignatius Catholic School for the past three years. Last year, I graduated with my Master’s of Arts in Education from Spring Hill College. I really wanted to teach middle school, so I was excited to get an offer to work with the great faculty and staff here on Chieftain Way. Some fun facts about me are that I danced for eighteen years, and I was on the dance team of my college. I hope to have a dance club this year at Chickasaw during Tribe Time! I am an orange belt in karate, and I love to be in plays. My favorite color is yellow, and I love flamingos and Hamilton which I saw live in New Orleans. Please contact me with any questions, comments, concerns, or suggestions.
